At Dornoch Square East we were approached to create a residential development in a very prestigious setting. The new residences were to be built on a conservation area that also happened to be contaminated land; the site was formerly home to a garage, and before work could start on the townhouses the soil had to be remediated.

Planning was a delicate process- it was our job not only to create a high quality residential development that would be worth the cost of the expensive site and any remediation, but also to work closely with planners and action groups to ensure the prestigious setting was respected and enhanced. The result was a modern “mews-style” development that fits comfortably with the surrounding area.
