At Bridge House on the Inverness riverfront, our client initially hoped to demolish the 1960s concrete block building and redevelop the entire site. Our original designs were presented to The Royal Fine Arts Commission (now A+ DS) for approval, but in the end economic considerations meant it was more practical for our client to retain and refurbish the building.
We subsequently obtained Planning Consent for 33 new apartments, shops, offices and restaurants, offering this building a new lease of life, and bringing much-needed vitality back into the city centre.
