With Achnagairn House we were approached with a unique problem solving opportunity- to find a way to save a deteriorating building without sacrificing its original character.

The size and shape of the building was the biggest challenge- without significant changes to the original design of this listed building it would not have many uses. Based on a detailed measured and photographic survey of the building and its surroundings we developed a set of proposals that would give this building a new lease of life. Our proposed solution maintained the integrity and beauty of this unique building while discreetly upgrading the services and facilities to a very high standard.

Before the work could be done however, the client received an attractive offer for the building and it was sold on. It was subsequently restored to a very high standard by the new owner, and now functions successfully as a prestigious wedding venue.
