John Paul Photography is one of Scotland’s leading commercial photographers. Our assignment was to design a versatile studio linked to the photographer’s existing house.

Having limited space to play with we created a minimalist-style studio that incorporated multiple functions into a tight space without sacrificing any essential features.

Clever storage, lighting and heating solutions helped to maximise the area available, while big windows, high ceilings and a bright interior allowed for plenty of natural light. We emphasised clean lines to help make the space feel open, sleek and modern. The end result was a flexible studio that satisfies the needs of a busy photographer.
